GTA4 Release Dates

The Original Release Date

Grand Theft Auto IV was originally planned for release on October 16th, 2007 in USA and October 19th, 2007 in Europe, however on August 2nd, 2007, Rockstar Games announced that the game would be delayed until the 2nd quarter of 2008.

The New Release Date

On January 24th, 2008, Rockstar Games officially announced that the game will be released worldwide for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on April 29th, 2008.

Console Releases

The game was released for the Playstation 3 and XBox 360 worldwide on April 29th, 2008.

PC Version Release Date

On August 6th, 2008, Rockstar Games announced the PC version of the game would be released in November 2008. This date was then pushed back by a few weeks, leading to a final release date of December 02, 2008.

The Lost And Damned (GTA4 Downloadable Content)

On November 20th, 2008, Rockstar confirmed the downloadable content for GTA4 would be called "The Lost And Damned" and will be released on Xbox 360 Marketplace on February 17, 2009.
